What Is Super Lawyers® — and Why Does It Matter?
Super Lawyers® is an independent rating service that recognizes attorneys across the country. Each year, their research team reviews lawyers in every state using a four-step selection process.
Here is how it works:
- Peer Nominations: Fellow attorneys nominate lawyers they have personally seen in action.
- Independent Research: The Super Lawyers® team evaluates each candidate on 12 factors, including verdicts and settlements, experience, honors, and professional activity.
- Blue Ribbon Peer Review: Top candidates are reviewed and rated by a panel of attorneys in their same practice area.
- Final Selection: Only the attorneys with the highest overall scores earn a place on the list.
No attorney can buy their way onto the list. Selection is based entirely on peer recognition and professional achievement.
Only 5 percent of attorneys in each state earn the Super Lawyers® distinction.
